Fun Stuff

 Welcome to Drake Springs, Florida!

where Wilson Drake is county sheriff and Samuel Drake is dean of the college.  Phyllis Gillespie owns the town's only newspaper and is out to disparage the Drake family at any opportunity.  Meet Wil, Sam, and other quirky citizens of Drake Springs in RECLAIM MY LIFE.

Located within the imagination of author Cheryl Norman, Drake Springs is a charming small town in fictional Foster County, Florida.  The Suwannee River and surrounding locales are real.

More from Drake Springs:

Cheryl has written another story set in Drake Springs that features more of the Drake family. Award-winning photographer Taylor Drake suddenly returns home, and Adam Gillespie wonders why she's hiding. Their families are bitter enemies, but he keeps forgetting that when he's around the beautiful woman. Stay tune for more about REBUILD MY WORLD! Available August, 2011.

Cheryl and her husband after completing their last marathon in San Diego.  Unlike Ashley Adams, the heroine in Running Scared, no one along the course tried to kill them.

The monument located at the entrance to Arlington Cemetery marks the finish line of the Marine Corps Marathon.  Ashley Adams doesn't know when she trains to run her first marathon that she'll be running for her life!  Yes, marathon training can be murder.  Meet Ashley, Detective Rick Edwards, and their friends (and enemies) in RUNNING SCARED.

Route 66 may be gone as an official highway, but it lives in spirit.  Many towns along the original highway have preserved sections of "Historic 66."  Enjoy my two stories, Twilight Time and Bad Moon Rising, part of Highland Press's Romance on Route 66 anthology.
